Bank of Russia begins publishing statistics on household saving rate

The indicator shows what portion of income households prefer to save. It demonstrates not only households’ propensity to save but also their consumer activity.
The data will be published quarterly, including as a seasonally adjusted time series, as part of the material Financial assets and liabilities of the households sector.
