Talking Trends: growth moderates, prices rise slower

Between February and March, the economy continued to grow moderately, and dynamics across industries diverged. Despite stagnation in retail lending, the consumer segment saw most rapid development thanks to rising household incomes.
In March, there was a decline in household and business inflation expectations. Seasonally adjusted consumer price growth continued to slow down but remained high. To return inflation to 4%, a long period of tight monetary conditions will be needed.
