Growth in financial institutions' assets slows down amid tight monetary conditions in 2024

Growth in banks’ assets was traditionally the highest. Concurrently, a dynamic increase in assets was reported by non-bank financial institutions (NFIs) offering products such as exchange-traded funds of the money market and short-term life insurance policies that yielded a return comparable to that of bank deposits. Contrastingly, the proportion of brokerage clients’ assets in the total amount of assets decreased.
